Annotation: The Human Rights Project of Bard College established this archive of newspaper articles, essays, commentaries, and photographs. The first category shown on the site is Responses to Sept. 11 and includes 60 articles listed in reverse chronological order from mainstream newspapers and magazines. Some of the publications included are The Guardian, the New York Times, Newsweek, and the Washington Post. There are essays and press releases from human rights organizations including Crimes of War Project, InterAction, Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan, Oxfam, ACLU, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and Physicians for Human Rights. Under the category of National Security and Civil Liberties are approximately 25 articles from the mainstream print media, and there are seven articles on public responses. Finally, there are six articles on Religion and the Question of Fundamentalism. The downside to this site is that it is very slow to navigate.
